This morning I took Charlie our for her constitution. It was just before 8:00 a.m. and the day was starting out to be hot and was only going to get hotter. I looked into the direction of the sun and light was so wonderful. I walked along until I got this boat and light in the position I wanted . I took a meter reading off the blue sky that was about 90˚ away from this sail boat as I was shooting for a silhouette.
When I got home, and enlarged this image, I noticed that had a dust spot on my sensor. I simply spotted it out and then cleaned my sensor. This is the first time I have had to clean the sensor on my µ43 in almost three years. For me this is unusual as I clean my Nikon almost every second month as I hate dust. I am not sure how Panasonic cleans there sensors but it seems to work!

Lovely interspersed glitter trail.
Thanks Ron.
and you were right- it was a hot day!
It sure was.
Is ‘cleaning your own sensors’ something a person can learn to do without the fear of wrecking their camera?
Elizabeth, it is always scary the first time you do it but it really is easy and I would be glad to teach you.
