Yesterday I was to meet up with a group and head off for a garden tour. The day was dam dull and foggy and so was my brain. I muddled the starting location and was sitting in drizzle with no direction to go. So I did the next best thing I went down to the harbour. While I was there, there were two dories setting out for race trials. This one headed out into the fog of the harbour first. I had a “normal” lens on the camera so I could not get close but that was ok as I shot for a feeling of isolation. When it came to processing the image I knew it had to be in B&W because the pullers were dressed in very colourful t-shirts and that would be so distracting. Once I went to B&W I figured in for a penny in for a pound and made it look very old in honour of the timelessness feel of the day.

Oh WOW!!! Beautiful and so very moody! I love it!
Sent you a copy for your computer wallpaper.
Missed you at the garden tour, but . . . would not like to have missed seeing this image.
Lots to see in the old home town! If you are out and about today I am sure we will bump into each other.
Beautiful, atmospheric – looks as if it could have been taken decades ago.
